Cradle Club

The Clear Lake Regional Medical Center Cradle Club offers numerous parenting and childbirth classes for new and expecting parents to help you prepare for your baby.

All instructors are Lamaze certified and TDH certified for breastfeeding. Cradle Club is a reliable resource for expectant parents and follows current guidelines indicated by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Center for Disease Control.

The following classes are offered:

Lamaze (four-week)
Lamaze Saturday Blitz
Breastfeeding
Baby Care
Sibling classes
Tours of Women’s Services
Infant CPR

Mothers of Multiples meets monthly.

Cradle Club also offers Medela breast pump rental and sales to support the status of Clear Lake Regional as a Texas Ten Step Hospital by the Texas Department of Health. Breastpump rental and sales with Medela products are offered and available Monday through Friday, 8-4:30 pm. Please view the Cradle Club handbook below for complete details.

Inpatient lactation services are offered seven days a week on the 3rd floor, with internationally board certified lactation consultants. There also is a biweekly support group for new moms, led by the lactation consultants.

Mended Hearts - a unique support group for heart patients, their families and caregivers. Mended Hearts partners with hospitals and rehabilitation clinics to help those affected by heart disease have a positive patient-care experience. No fee.
