Clear Lake Regional Medical Center Presents Donation to Friendswood Fire Department

(Webster Tx June 27th 2014) – Being prepared for any emergency requires each Firefighter and EMS to have extensive training, honed skills and proper equipment. Clear Lake Regional Medical Center knows this, and is proud to have donated $1,000 on June 26, 2014 towards necessary technological improvements that the Friendswood Fire Department needs.

The donation will go towards more needed updates for Electronic Patient Care Reports (EPCR), Mobile Data Terminals and Trauma registry reporting.  These improvements involve 911 dispatches ability to quickly and effectively communicate with the Friendswood Fire Department during every emergency.  In addition, the department will now have updated mapping equipment and reporting capabilities.

“We want to thank Clear Lake Regional Medical Center for this donation,” said Assistant EMS Chief, Roy Hunter. “This donation will help us serve the community more efficiently and effectively.”
